The crochet red squirrel pattern is beginning to take shape. I’m very glad it is, because I was a bit worried.
And here are some high quality, beautiful pictures of red squirrels I took. Well, maybe two, or one….Enjoy.
LOL!
These pictures could have been so beautiful! But, it’s not about the pictures, I loved watching these squirrels and the pictures are just blurry reminders of those moments.
Now back to the crochet version!
*EDIT* I just tweeted a first prototype image of the crochet red squirrel head.
Hi Sonja
If you need any encouragement (which I’m sure you don’t), can I just say I am SOOOO excited to see you completed squirrel and buy your pattern! The sneaky photo on twitter looks adorable. I am about to order some more Lettlopi wool so could you do me a favour and tell me which colour the squirrel will be made in please? Is it a brown mix or a reddish colour? Tell me the yarn lot number and I can order the exact colour 🙂 waiting for your designs is like waiting for Christmas 🙂
Lots of love J x
Hehe, nice comment, especially the last part, lol.
I’m busy working on the squirrel body now and the white belly is taking more time to make than I expected….I thought I had made enough of those to get it right quickly, but for every belly shape the stitches are different…oi. And…..the contrast of this belly is much higher so the changes are more visible, it does look good as far as I’m now. I wanted to have him finished this Friday but that’s not going to happen I’m afraid. Somewhere next week.
I really hope the finished squirrel will meet up to your expectations!
L of L back, Sonja.
